Madison, Alabama to Clinton, Tennessee
Highlights: Picnic at Point Park, then home
Homeward bound! We zipped out of Alabama heading northeast, and though we couldn't avoid the interstate through the corner of Georgia and Chattanooga, we then decided to ditch I-75 for the more pleasant US 27 to Harriman and then TN 61 on home.
In Dayton, Tennessee, we stopped for one last vacation picnic at Point Park on an arm of Chickamauga Lake.

We timed our return for midafternoon so I could pick up Bosco from his sleep-away camp at 5:00. Reunited and it feels so good!
