2001 Mid-Atlantic Tour
Photo Journal!
A whirlwind nine-day trip covering seven states
and the District of Columbia.
Our route in blue.
We traveled north through the Appalachian Mountains from our
home in Knoxville, Tennessee, through Virginia and West Virginia,
then east to Washington, D.C., and Baltimore. We crossed the
Cheasapeake Bay at Annapolis, then traveled south along the coasts
of Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina. The trip ended
with a drive down the Outer Banks and a ferry ride from Okracoke to
the mainland of North Carolina.
