A warm week and a half in the Sunshine State
Tom and Jana in paradise
Tom's brother Bill and his wife Patti moved to Fort Myers last year to escape the harsh winters of Michigan. We were keen to see their new place - and escape winter ourselves - so we waited for an opportune time, and off we went!
Of course, we didn't confine ourselves to the Fort Myers area, also spending time in and around Brooksville, Palm Beach, Vero Beach, and St. Augustine. And like last year, we brought along our bicycles. Florida has countless great bike trails.
We originally intended this trip to coincide with Jana's birthday in January, but we were running just a little behind. No worries - we'll just keep celebrating!
