New York and More Journal!
A week and a half in the northeastern states of New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the Canadian province of Ontario.
We had a more adventurous trip in mind for this summer, but life intervened; I (Jana) didn't have the mindset for massive planning; and Tom suggested something simpler. I had never been to New York City, Niagara Falls, the St. Lawrence Seaway, or the states of New Jersey or Connecticut, and Tom hadn't been to those places in multiple decades, so off we went! Plus this would give us the opportunity to visit Tom's oldest brother, John, and his fine family as well...

As of the end of this trip, Jana has visited 49 states (all but Alaska) and Tom 48 (all but Alaska and North Dakota).
